a few passages from Isaiah 40 about how we have no idea about the faithfulness, grace and mercy of God. This is only a few passages, but it reminds us of how God is dailed into our every need and how he provides strength, courage and energy to face the challenges of our lives.

This is from Isaiah 40:28-31

 28 Have you never heard?
      Have you never understood? (editor note here -- God is saying "hello Mcfly!")
   The Lord is the everlasting God,
      the Creator of all the earth.
   He never grows weak or weary.
      No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
 29 He gives power to the weak
      and strength to the powerless.
 30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
      and young men will fall in exhaustion.
 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
      They will soar high on wings like eagles.
   They will run and not grow weary.
      They will walk and not faint.

In times of exhaustion, fear and uncertainty, the text tells us that thos who trust in the Lord will find new strength. Our act of faith and trust is a source of new strength not found anywhere in the world or with man.
